I save companies money by radically simplifying existing systems, and writing new systems clear enough to fit in one person's head. I slash cloud costs and get projects over the finish line on-budget and on-time.
My main expertise is developing backend systems in Go (golang), especially infrastructure like DNS, media streaming, and bespoke network protocols. That said, I'm comfortable dropping in to frontend (React) and DevOps/Sysadmin/SRE (Terraform, Ansible).
My secondary expertise is communication; I help break down barriers and help teams have fun again.
